Da jeg straks skal montere klosser på min korte Y60 kan jeg vel lage en guide på det også med bilder.
Begynner med å spraye alle involverte bolter og deler med WD-40 noen dager i forveien for å løse litt opp i ting

Smart HOWTO manualer er alltid kjekke å ha. Har laget en veldig tynn howto manual på løfting av 160.
Jeg trengte faktisk ikke å spraye rustløser på boltene, de var grei nok å få av uansett.

Så da kan jo du prøve og feile først, slik at jeg kan benytte din oppskrift til suksess

Da var jeg ferdig. Fort gjort faktisk... 3 timer på hele jobben. 2 for å løsne boltene. Muttertrekker er et must!!

Det er faktisk ikke så mye som må gjøres for å heve "bare" 40mm. ingenting må forlenges eller sånnt. det meste strekker seg. og bremserør er jo faktisk laget orginale spiraler for å klare denne bevegelsen.

Eneste ekstra blir faktisk å bøye girstengene slik at alle girene virker... nå har jeg bare 1,3,5, og ingen 4wd.
Må demonteres for å få bøyd de sjikkelig.

Gjør følgende:

7 Girstenger.... En enkel måte å ordne dette på er å ta ut girstengene fra bilen(litt jobb med tepper)
Så snitter du girstengene i forkant med vinkelsliper,nesten helt av. så bøyer du nesten helt sammen og sveiser fast.
Stengene er massive så det er bare å glemme å bøye uten kapping.
Snittet må ligge så lavt så mulig på stengene. Rett over den nedre gummibelgen er bra.
Ikke overdriv bøyingen, for da treffer du mittkonsollen når du girer.
