Er nok en universal intercooler. Ikke sikker på hvor den ble kjøpt, men www.bsbildeler.no eller www.klracing.se mener jeg har av denne typen.
Grei størrelse, men kunne kanskje tenkt meg å endre litt på vinkel inn- og utgående rør, men fri for argon, så da ble d slik som dette.

Går sakte og rolig her. Men fikk i allefall montert ferdig frontsettet til stereoen i dag. Har brukt et gammelt pioneer-sett jeg hadde liggende. Lyden ble bra, så får jeg se etterhvert om jeg orker putte inn noe mer. Greit med litt lyd i bilen om en kjører langt.

Har kjørt litt med baja dekkene nå og har i grunn bestemt meg for at de skal byttes ut! Blir for grovt til mitt bruk og tror også bilen vil bli bedre med 12,5 bredde på dekkene. Vurderer bl.a cooper sst, bfg mt og roadventure fra hercules... Noen erfaringer?

Har lovlig hengervekt på 3500kg på denne, Noen som har forsøkt å utnytte denne vekten med henholdsvis 33" og 35" dekkstørrelse?? Lurer litt på å gå opp til 35" selv om det medfører litt ekstra arbeid med tilpassing av hjulbuer og andre breddere..

Da va rørene til ic kommet på plass. testtur med 0,7 i trykk gikk bra etter litt stramming av klemmer. Virker til å fungere greit, men vil sannsynligvis endre litt på plasseringen og sveise rørene sammen fremfor å skjøte med slange å klemmer. Men dette bli ikke før jeg kjenner arbeidslysten sige på for ombygging til elektriske kjølevifter. '

må vel innrømme at det blei ikke heilt problemfritt med montering av ic... Gikk som sagt greit under test etter montering, men ved landeveiskjøring og lang tids trykk fikk jeg lekasjer. Der jeg ikke var i stand til å lokalisere den ene. Dette resulterte i at jeg tok ned alle rør og bestemte meg for å sveise noen av skjøtene. Monterte opp siste rest igjen i dag å har nå fått testet noen mil langs vei og ser ut til at det fungerer som d skal...

Da Har jeg nu fått kjørt litt med ic montert og det virker til å holde og gi meget god effekt. Så det nødvendig å bytte hovedlysene også, for de gamle begynte å bli en smule dårlig.

Fant etter mye om og men ut at jeg ikke vil bygge om til elektriske vifter enda, så ble litt spekulering på hvordan jeg skulle legge opp rørene til intercooleren. Etter mye om og men bestemte jeg meg for å lage hull i kjølekappen til radiatoren å legge røret mellom vifta og radiator og på den måten oppnår jeg faktisk ekstra kjøling av luften. Har lagt hele opplegget slik at varm luft passerer i røret bak radiator, rundt frem og gjennom ic bak grillen og så inn igjen til innsuget. slik at jeg får kortest mulig vei fra ic til innsug.

Har justert litt på pumpa å skrudd trykket til 0,8bar å går i mine øyne noe hinsides mye bedre. Faktisk så bra at jeg lure på om jeg kanskje må ha meg ny clutch For der tror jeg det var antydning til sluring i dag Men må se nærmere på det når jeg kommer meg i garasjen igjen. kjennes litt merkelig ut hele clutchen mener jeg så skal bytte væske på den å lufte skikkelig så får jeg teste litt mer .

Husk å være litt snill med den i lange oppoverbakker, er ikke helt sikkert den tåler så mye større påkjenning over lang tid.

Har mye å si hvordan de blir kjørt i oppvarmingsfasen. Pass bare på at hele motoren er gjennomvarm før du belaster den tungt. Hadde for en del år siden en 92 Y60 2.8TD intercooler, oppjustert pumpe og 1,0 Bar turbotrykk, gikk som en symaskin i 2,5 år mens jeg hadde den, men var alltid forsiktig med den til den var gjennomvarm, etter det ble den virkelig brukt, men det tåler de når de er driftsvarme.

Har litt erfaring av viktigheten med og la systemet få finne arbeidstemperatur før det utsettes for belastning. Gjennom diverse gatebiler, banebiler og større kjøretøy gjennom tidligere jobb som langtransportsjåfør og nå som bilberger.

Forsøker å la bilen får noen minutter før jeg kjører ut og avventer større belastninger til systemet er godt innenfor arbeidstemperatur. Men ser ofte at det syndes på en annen del som jeg anser som like viktig. Nemlig det å la systemet får roe ned igjen etter større påkjenninger... Her er det svært mange som ikke tenker seg om noe som jeg tror kan spille en like stor rolle på slitasjen...

Ikke så mye som skjer for tida. Sliter litt med motivasjon. Kjenner et rimelig sterkt behov for ferie snart så kanskje ting blir bedre, Har i snitt 25 døgn på vakt i mnd i to år nå uten ferie...
Men litt får jeg gjort. Har siden jeg kjørte min første Land Cruiser hatt sansen for speilene der som ga meg god oversikt. Det endte med at det måtte prøves og slik ble resultatet..

Syntes den virker noe nervøs etter veien og sporer mer enn den buder gjøre. nå skal det jo sies at veiene her er rimelig dårlige, men likevell føler jeg ikke at den oppfører seg normalt.
