Her er et par små bilder.. første av den væska jeg tappa av fra clutch-systemet og andre er et dårlig bilde av kontakt innfelt i sidevegg bak...

Ei stund siden siste oppdatering her. Ikke så veldig mye som har blitt gjort annet enn litt vedlikehold. Fått justert forstillingen og bremsetest så da skulle jeg snart være klar for en tur til BT for godkjenning av hevesettet. Burde kanskje få registrert endring/fjærning av varebilvegg og bestilt nye skilt i samme slengen. Så skulle det bare gjenstå en lengere diskusjon og argumentering for å få 33" godkjent

Men litt nytt har d også blitt. Har vært litt frem og tilbake vedrørende dekk til bilen og da det etterhvert nærmet seg JAC på Setermoen (8-10 juni) var det på tide å bestemme seg. Valget falt på Cooper STT og jeg kan ikke si annet enn at jeg er meget fornøyd!! Etter seiping av dekkene merker jeg ikke mer støy enn da jeg hadde bfg all-terrain og dekkene er bedre å kjøre på etter veien. Så da gjenstår bare offroadtest, noe som skulle la seg gjennomføre til gang denne helgen

Hadde en fantastisk helg på JAC vårtreff i Mauken skytefelt... Fikk testa bilen å må si meg imponert over egenskapene. Nå viste det seg jo at det var behov for noen forbedringer for å kunne henge med, men syntes det gikk over all forventning. Største problemet var vel i grunn ubeskyttet åpent luftfilter og derav en meget tilbakeholden sjåfør når det kom til vann og våt myr. Neste problem var eiers ikke helt gjennomtenkte plassering av eksosanlegg, noe som reulterte i et noe redusert eksosanlegg på hjemturen

Merket meg også et markant behov for noe ekstra stasj til bilen. så noen dager etter jeg kom hjem fikk jeg fatt i vinsj. klistremerker er borte, men iflg selger er det en GEW12000 (solgt av larsenvinsj) Venter også på litt påfyll på konto før jeg bestiller skjermbreddere og snorkel...

Kunne forøvrig også tenkt meg nye baklys. Med alle lysene oppe i karosseriet.. vurderer nemlig bygge ny bakfanger og vil da ta bort de lysene som nå står der...

Da var vinsjen gått over. Viser seg å være noen skader pga korrosjon i huset til motoren, men lar det være inntil videre. Skal bestille meg en ny motor å ha i reserve til denne tar kveld. Venter på svar fra leverandør av tau til visnjen så jeg kan se litt på hva jeg skal velge av tau eller wire. I mellomtiden håper jeg å få montert vinsjen slik at det er bare å fylle trommelen og klar for bruk.

Fikk forøvrig også tilslag på et sett breddere i dag. Så snart selger er hjemme fra ferie er de vel på tur i posten.. Da er det i grunn snorkel og en del arbeid som gjenstår før jeg e klar for litt flere utfordringer.

Da va man i gang med vinsjmontering. Blir fastmontert vinsj i fronten. Bare grovs satt på plass her. Skal en del forsterkninger samt noe sliping og lakk til før det er helt ferdig...

Vinsjfeste på plass. forstekning og finish gjenstår

Har bestemt meg for å benytte tau på vinsjen, så mandag bestilles tau, aluminium kause samt litt annet småtteri.

Har også vurdert litt på å montere rocksliders, men har kommet frem til at jeg heller bytter ut kanalene med firkantrør i 80x80x5. Ved å gjøre dette får jeg bort evt påbegynt rust samt forsterket karosseri og "kanaler" mot støt. Dette er noe vi har forsøkt på et par biler tidligere med gode resultat. Montering av dette tas ifm montering av breddere slik at det blir rett lengde på kanalene.

Da var bakaksel med sperre kommet på gården, samt det meste som trengs for å sette dette på plass og i funksjon. En liten runde i morgen for innkjøp av siste små detaljer så er det i garasjen for og starte montering...

Tja, en lærer så lenge en lever var det engang noen som fortalte meg...

Bytting av aksling for få sperre var visst mer omfattende enn jeg trodde. Hadde i grunn et lite håp om å bare kunne bytta bakakselen, men den gang ei.. Så da bli d visst innkjøp og bytte av framaksling også.

Noen som vet om det er forskjell på hylsene eller om jeg bare kan flytte diffen over til den hylsa som nå står på bilen??

Tror jeg ville bytta hele akslingen, flytter du diffen over så må det kontrollmåles og shimses så dreva står riktig så de ikke blir gnagd sundt. Husk å få riktig utveksling i både fram og bakaksling eller så tar du knekken på fordelingskassa.

Tror du blander med 160'n her Tormod. På Y60 (i allefall min) kan komplett diff løftes ut i bakkant av akselhylsa på samme måte som f.eks toyota hilux mkII. Bare løsne knokkelhusene og dra stikkakslingene litt ut.. På 160'n va det lokk på framsiden av foraksel og en måtte demontere alt for å få det ut.. Spørsmålet er bare om den nye diffen er noe større fysisk enn den gamle. Var i allefall stor forskjell bak, men det kommer kanskje av at der er sperre..

Ellers skal det bare vare og bytte differ mellom Y60 og Y61 så hvidt jeg veit.

okey om det er likt som på hiluxen skal det bare være å bytte diff'ene.

Da har jeg fått henta framasklingen fra samme bilen som jeg fikk bakaksling fra... Skal få demontert å sett over litt før jeg begynne montering på egen bil. Flytter diffen over i hylsa som står på min bil nå, og så byttes komplett bakstell med tilhørende stag (bedre foringer enn de jeg har..)

Har også forsket litt på dette med bryter for inn/ut-kobling av sperra og varsellys for innkoblet sperre. Finner ut at den original bryteren har en såkalt "on/on" funksjon. Altså med bryteren i posisjon "OFF" går det strøm til ene solenoiden for utkobling avsperra, og i posisjon "ON" veksles spenningen over til andre solenoiden som da skrur på sperra... Ledninger/kontakter til dette er ikke originalt på min bil så dette må jeg legge opp selv. Fikk med nødvendige kontakter/brytere til dette så trekker jeg opp ledningene selv.

Breddere er nå på tur i posten så da blir det litt kutting og sveising nå de kommer...
